5 Marketing Tips You Can Do From Your Beach Chair

Here’s 5 marketing tips that you can do this summer – from your beach chair with your toes in the sand – that will ensure to bring more business your way this fall.

Newsletter. If you don’t have one, create one. E-newsletters are a cost-effective way to stay ‘top of mind,’ and remind your clients and prospects about all the services you offer. You can use it to run a special promotion, make an announcement, provide product/service updates, plus much more.

Take another look at LinkedIn. Spend 20 minutes each day going through your contacts. Send them a note, endorse them, or setup a time to meet for coffee or lunch. Summer is a slower pace for many businesses, and your contacts may be more open to meet with you in July or August. Relationships that you work on now, have potential to bloom later in the year.

Speaking of LinkedIn. Have you updated your profile lately? Add in any awards, accomplishments, recognitions, portfolio samples and special interests.

Website. It’s a good time to evaluate your current website. Is it doing all that you want it to? Is it mobile friendly? Are you able to track the traffic that’s coming to your site? Make your own edits? If you’ve answered no to any of these questions, it may be time to re-evaluate your site.

Check the Calendar. Have you been meaning to sign up for a few events at that association you joined last year? Go online and commit to a few events for the fall months – you can usually register online. Add it to your calendar and you’re set to go!
