How Strategy Became Our Secret Weapon
About 15 years ago, I worked with a client who wanted to generate more leads. Simple enough, right? They had a website that – well – let’s just say it wasn’t doing them any favors. We gently suggested it needed an overhaul, but they insisted, “No, no, it’s fine. Just work around it.”
So, our team did what we were hired to do – and built a smart campaign designed to drive qualified traffic straight to their site. The results came in, and the numbers were strong. People were clicking, visiting, showing interest…and then leaving almost immediately.
Using analytics, we could see exactly what was happening: the campaign was working, but the website wasn’t. The online experience didn’t match the promise of the marketing. Visitors were coming, but they weren’t staying – or converting.
Taking a step back, I realized that getting to the core of the problem – and taking a holistic approach – would have made all the difference. Marketing can’t live in a vacuum. Every piece, from your brand message to your website and customer experience, has to work together.
That realization was a turning point for us. We began developing strategic marketing plans – customized roadmaps that align every element of a client’s marketing toward a shared goal. From branding and messaging, to websites and campaign execution, everything we do now starts with strategy.
Because when your marketing connects the dots, your audience does too.
As a business owner, are you spending a lot each month on marketing – but not seeing results? Have you tried everything you can think of, but it’s just not moving the dial?
Let’s have a conversation. Together, we can identify what’s working, what’s not, and how to bring your marketing strategy back into focus.
