Four powerful ways that you can grow your business:
1. Increase the value of each sale: focus on existing clients and expand the services you offer to them, instead of looking outwards to getting new clients.
2. Increase frequency of sales: Sell more items to repeat customers.
3. Increase the number of customers: Learn how to “classify” your customers through a rating system. Grade each client with an A, B, C, or D. A is the largest and D is the smallest. Are you spending all your time working with a D client? Evaluate this so that you can spend your time wisely.
4. Increase the efficiency of your operations: Work “on” your business, not just “in” it. Create systems so that you can run your business more efficiently. If what you love to do is “bake pies,” then bring in help for the accounting and marketing, so you can focus on the parts you love best. This will keep you from feeling drained and doing things you don’t enjoy.
